He finalized his pediatric emergency medicine fellowship in 1997 and has been a key figure in pediatric emergency medicine at Hôpital Ste-Justine since then, including as chief of emergency medicine from 2005 to 2010. Dr. Arsenault was pivotal in establishing Canada’s first pediatric emergency ultrasound service and served on the trauma medicine committee from 2000 to 2020.
